I was taken back to my Student Days last Friday... yes I have a very good memory!
Two very switched on students came to visit our Studio in their attempts to generate much needed income for the 2010 Degree Show at Coventry University.
I remember being part of the very same committee when I was at the Poly. We organised a Christmas Ball at the Leofric Hotel and held several sponsored events to raise funds for our show.
Stephanie and Paul along with their peers are arranging for various speakers to talk on campus to students and other interested parties about their careers, work ethic and just about anything that will justify the £2 entry fee. I think the main focus of the talk will centre around the Vivienne Westwood Opus published earlier in the year.
So, if you're free and you're about on Thursday (13th Nov) night why not support the young talent of the University. The talk starts at 7.30 on the 4th floor in the Graham Sutherland Building.
A window display at the International Center of Photography, NYC, has been revealed for the duration of New York Fashion Week showcasing the Vivienne Westwood Opus.
The location of the ICP is at the heart of the activity of the fashion shows and parties... therefore getting great exposure.

The boys welcomed the Vivienne Westwood Opus into the Studio yesterday.
The experience of opening it is special... like when you get a brand new Apple computer.
It's truly beautiful!
I've finally finished all the design work on the Clearing campaign for Coventry University.
Keep your eyes open for the camper van designs on local billboards, in the press, at the Bullring and on the London Underground. Oh, and also on the rear of various buses around the Midlands.
So on this one occasion I don't mind you saying my designs look like 'the back end of a bus'!

We've just re-launched one of the sites dedicated to Opus: Opus Uncovered.
Updated every single day, Opus Uncovered allows you an unequalled in-depth look into the world of Opus. Image galleries, videos and a blog, written personally by the people working, living and breathing Opus, take you behind-the-scenes.
What's more, you can get involved by discussing what's on the site with our interactive comments feed and taking part in our competitions.
