It's been a tremendously busy week for us, in fact it has been for a while - which might explain the lack of posts lately. But this week has seen the culmination of several things that we've been working on.
First up, the web team have been working on a new version of the Kraken Opus site - check it out at www.krakenopus.com. There are also a few more Opus sites on the verge of being launched which we're excited about but can't tell you about just yet!
Second, a major development for the Opus side of Kraken: the launch of a fantastic gallery and store right in the middle of Covent Garden, London. It's the first ever retail or permanent exhibition space for Opus, and alongside the Opuses themselves we will be featuring works by many famous and revered photographers and artists. We in Coventry have been working hard to get the store fitted out and ready to take London by storm. Look out for more information and pictures soon.
In between all of that there's been plenty else going on lately, including more design work for Coventry University, such as their next prospectus. Great stuff.
The work goes on as ever, although we might just be looking forward to Christmas next week as well!

A window display at the International Center of Photography, NYC, has been revealed for the duration of New York Fashion Week showcasing the Vivienne Westwood Opus.
The location of the ICP is at the heart of the activity of the fashion shows and parties... therefore getting great exposure.

It was great to catch up with my good friend and colleague Jan Hnizdo in his native city Prague this July.
I was able to visit the studio that has been home to Europe's only Polaroid 20 x 24 camera, where Jan has captured hundreds of souls over the past 35 years. The studio walls were adorned with Jan's beautiful photographs and the very thought this unique camera was coming to the end of its era left a lump in my throat.

The Vivienne Westwood Opus Polaroid Exhibition - Global Tour
The Vivienne Westwood Opus Exhibition opened on Friday night in Hong Kong to a capacity audience despite twenty-four hours of non-stop torrential rain.
A star studded gathering with VIP guests were entertained with a fashion show celebrating Westwood's creations over the decades. The doors soon opened into the bespoke exhibition gallery that showcased thirty-five giant Polaroids featured in the Vivienne Westwood Opus.
If you plan to visit this show build in an extra hour or two to go shopping. This Mall is probably the most beautiful, shopper-friendly environment in the world.
