Unveiling the Opus Apps for iPhone and iPad

We're proud to announce the launch of the first of a series of Opus Apps. Saatchi Opus for iPhone & iPod touch and Saatchi Opus HD for iPad are the results of a collaboration between the team at Kraken Creative and Six Voices.
The apps allow for you to explore the limited edition Saatchi Opus in a new digital format, including bonus material from the Saatchi Gallery archive.

Ryan Giggs, Thierry Henry and the United Opus

Great Reebok advert created for the build up to this years Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona. It stars Thierry Henry and Ryan Giggs indulging in a game of one-upmanship.
The Manchester United Opus makes a surprise appearance at around the 35 second mark.

A busy week for Kraken...

It's been a tremendously busy week for us, in fact it has been for a while - which might explain the lack of posts lately. But this week has seen the culmination of several things that we've been working on.
First up, the web team have been working on a new version of the Kraken Opus site - check it out at www.krakenopus.com. There are also a few more Opus sites on the verge of being launched which we're excited about but can't tell you about just yet!
Second, a major development for the Opus side of Kraken: the launch of a fantastic gallery and store right in the middle of Covent Garden, London. It's the first ever retail or permanent exhibition space for Opus, and alongside the Opuses themselves we will be featuring works by many famous and revered photographers and artists. We in Coventry have been working hard to get the store fitted out and ready to take London by storm. Look out for more information and pictures soon.
In between all of that there's been plenty else going on lately, including more design work for Coventry University, such as their next prospectus. Great stuff.
The work goes on as ever, although we might just be looking forward to Christmas next week as well!

I was taken back to my Student Days last Friday… yes I have a very good memory!
Two very switched on students came to visit our Studio in their attempts to generate much needed income for the 2010 Degree Show at Coventry University.
I remember being part of the very same committee when I was at the Poly. We organised a Christmas Ball at the Leofric Hotel and held several sponsored events to raise funds for our show.
Stephanie and Paul along with their peers are arranging for various speakers to talk on campus to students and other interested parties about their careers, work ethic and just about anything that will justify the £2 entry fee. I think the main focus of the talk will centre around the Vivienne Westwood Opus published earlier in the year.
So, if you're free and you're about on Thursday (13th Nov) night why not support the young talent of the University. The talk starts at 7.30 on the 4th floor in the Graham Sutherland Building.
