This year began an exciting move into creating apps for iPad and iPhone/iPod touch, and we've been really pleased with the results.
We were lucky enough to have partnered with a team in the US called Six Voices to produce a series of apps, one of which has just been selected by Apple as part of its "iTunes Rewind 2010", selecting the best from the past year. The Saatchi Gallery Opus HD for iPad appears in the "Incredible Images" category for its "beautiful images and designs". Thanks to everyone who has downloaded this app already!
It's an exciting time for apps, and many more people each day are realising their potential for themselves and their businesses.
We're continuing to release apps based on the Opus series of publications using the same format as the app for Saatchi. We've also had plenty of interest from others asking us to use our app frameworks to turn their content into digital form. It looks like 2011 will be another exciting, and busy, year.
We're proud to announce the launch of the first of a series of Opus Apps. Saatchi Opus for iPhone & iPod touch and Saatchi Opus HD for iPad are the results of a collaboration between the team at Kraken Creative and Six Voices.
The apps allow for you to explore the limited edition Saatchi Opus in a new digital format, including bonus material from the Saatchi Gallery archive.

The Jumbo Coventry Storybook was unveiled this Bank Holiday Monday in Coventry city-centre. Gary and Zenon were on hand to witness the event along with the parade of elephants that included our very own elephant Kenneth.
Today we finished decorating our baby elephant for the launch of 'The Jumbo Coventry Storybook'.
The elephant will be on display, along with around thirty others, in Coventry’s Lower Precinct this coming August Bank Holiday at the unveiling of the giant storybook.
We're just putting the finishing touches to the 'Jumbo Coventry Storybook'. The book contains over 300 stories written by Coventry schoolchildren. Illustrations were provided by students from Coventry's Bablake and Cauldon Castle schools, and other Coventry based contributors.
Measuring 62 x 88cm the book is set to be the largest storybook in the world. The official unveiling will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31st) in Coventry's Lower Precinct.
